Mrs. Cherry established AlgorithmsPlus, LLC in 2015. Her vision for AlgorithmsPlus is, “to be recognized and respected as one of the world’s leading results oriented Information Technology service companies.”
Mrs. Cherry has over 30 years of Information Technology experience including federal and private industry. Having worked as an Information Technology (IT) professional from Systems Analyst, Applications Developer to Program Manager throughout the federal government including Department of Defense (Army, Navy, Air Force), and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She successfully provided analytical, programmatic, managerial, and financial management oversight managing budgets up to $100M in her various roles.
In the private business sector, she successfully contributed to projects at Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union, Georgetown University, Bank of Milwaukee, Worldcom/MCI, MedQuist, Santa Rosa Hospital, Northrop Grumman, D-Novus and K-Force Government Services (KGS).
Throughout her career, she led projects and programs in strategic planning, change management, technology implementations, culture assessments, and organizational effectiveness. Her passion for technology and social responsibility has led AlgorithmsPlus to pursue private and public sector clients where our services can make a difference in areas of education, healthcare, environmental, and national security, among others.
Mrs. Cherry has an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems and a graduate degree in Computer Resources and Information Management. She has attained professional certifications to include: Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level 3 in both Program Management and Information Technology, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management System (CPHIMS), ITILv3 Foundation, Certified Information Privacy Professional/Information Technology (CIPT), and R Programming – Data Scientists Toolbox Certification.
Mrs. Cherry is an advocate for small business and an active member of International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
She spends her spare time with her family and friends.
